Security Advisory – Recommendations against phishing attempts

Dear Guest, one of our suppliers suffered a cyber attack, after which fraudulent messages and emails have been reported that do not come from our official channels. These messages may look genuine because they can contain correct information about your booking, such as your name or stay dates. The purpose of these messages is to trick you into making unnecessary payments, disclosing your personal data, or clicking on dangerous links. In some cases, scammers may even threaten to cancel the booking to pressure you into paying immediately.
HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF
- Be suspicious of emails, SMS or WhatsApp messages that ask for payments, personal information, or that ask you to click links
- Do not click on suspicious links or download attachments received in insecure messages
- Never share passwords, codes, bank details or credit card information via email, SMS or WhatsApp
Roma Scout Center will never request passwords, personal codes or bank details via email, SMS or WhatsApp.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ENTERED YOUR DETAILS
- Contact your bank or credit card company immediately to block the card
